"What is henna?"
Henna is a dye made from the leaves of the Lawsonia inermis plant, commonly known as the henna plant. It has been used for centuries in various cultures for body art, hair dyeing, and even as a natural remedy. In body art, henna is often used to create intricate designs on the skin, especially in traditional ceremonies like weddings and festivals. The dye produces a reddish-brown color that typically lasts for one to three weeks.
"What is jagua?"
Jagua is a natural dye derived from the fruit of the Genipa americana tree, commonly found in tropical regions of Central and South America. Similar to henna, jagua is used for body art, creating temporary tattoos that appear dark blue or black on the skin. The dye is often applied in intricate designs, and it typically lasts about one to two weeks, gradually fading over time. Unlike henna, which gives a reddish-brown color, jagua offers a deeper, more dramatic hue. It's celebrated for its cultural significance in indigenous traditions and is increasingly popular in contemporary body art as a natural alternative to synthetic inks.
"Do you recommend jagua or henna?"
Choosing between jagua and henna really comes down to your personal style! If you love the warm, reddish-brown tones and enjoy traditional designs, henna is a fantastic option. On the flip side, if you’re looking for something with a bold, dark blue-black color, jagua could be perfect for you. It creates striking designs that stand out beautifully. Both are natural and have their own charm, so it really depends on what kind of look you're going for!

"Why is bridal henna so expensive?"
When a bride gets her henna done, it’s more than just a few hours; it can take an entire day filled with joy and excitement. With family and friends all around, the bride often needs breaks and might get distracted, so it’s my job as a henna artist to read her cues and ensure she’s comfortable. Bridal henna is a special experience that goes beyond beautiful designs. Each intricate pattern tells a story, reflecting the bride’s unique personality and style. We truly cherish being a part of this memorable moment, connecting generations through this beautiful tradition.
"Do you do events?"

"Do you do last minute bookings?"
Last-minute bookings will incur an additional charge, which varies based on the type of appointment.
"Where do you do henna appointments? "
The location depends on the type of appointment. Bridal appointments are always conducted at the bride's location. For regular appointments, we discuss preferences with each client to find a suitable arrangement. While I operate from a home-based studio, I understand that some clients may prefer not to meet in a private residence. Therefore, I also offer the option of meeting at local cafes or similar venues for added convenience.
"What about traveling? Do you travel?"
I’m happy to travel for henna appointments and events; however, please note that an additional travel fee will apply.
For any additional questions, please feel free to contact me through email, phone, or social media!
